That’s the word from Tim Burke, who is again organizing Peterborough’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The annual George Street tribute to all things green will roll down George Street for a 25th year on March 16th – a milestone that has Burke shaking his head in amazement. Peterborough, ON – The St. Patrick’s Day parade, organized by Peterborough St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee, will travel down George Street starting at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2025. Road closures, parking restrictions and Peterborough Transit detours will be in place. Peterborough Police will have an increased presence throughout the City of Peterborough, Village of Lakefield, and Township of Cavan-Monaghan to respond to an anticipated increase in calls for service, such as noise or disturbance calls.
